With respect to the proceedings against Asthana, who requested the cancellation of a GIR against him in a corruption case, the court extended until December 7 his order ordering at the IWC. to maintain the status quo.

The court heard separate pleadings from Asthana, Kumar and Intermediate Manoj Prasad, seeking to have the RIP overturned against them.

At the previous hearing, Sharma's lawyer stated that he had presented evidence against Asthana. place him in court under a sealed cover, to which the court asked him to testify before the IWC. The investigative agency will then file the documents in front of it.

On 19 November, CBI Director Alok Kumar Verma filed his response to the Supreme Court on the findings of the CVC preliminary investigation report into the sealed charges of corruption. On November 16, the Supreme Court had asked Verma to file its response.

Earlier, the Supreme Court had stated that the CVC had reached "very uncomplicated" conclusions about its investigation into allegations of corruption against Verma and asked for new investigations to be conducted. some of the charges requiring more time, adding that there were also "very complementary" findings.

Verma was sent to the Supreme Court to challenge the Center's decision to remove him from office and send him on leave as a result of his quarrel with CBI Special. director Rakesh Asthana, who has filed a complaint against him for corruption. Asthana was also dismissed and sent on leave.
