Honor 8C is the latest smartphone from the Huawei brand in the Indian market. The combined budget has been priced in competitive sub-Rs. 15,000 price segments dominated by actors like Xiaomi and Realme. Honor 8C Award vs Realme U1 in India
The Honor 8C award in India is set at Rs. 11,999 for the internal storage model of 4 GB of RAM / 32 GB base and Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variant. The smartphone's color options include Aurora Blue, Magic Night Black, Nebula Violet, and Platinum Gold. The Honor 8C will go on sale in the Indian market through Amazon.in and the HiHonor online store from December 10th.
In India, the price of Realme U1 also starts at Rs. 11,999 in the Indian market for the basic storage variant of 3GB of RAM / 32GB. There is an additional storage model of 4GB of RAM / 64 GB at a price quoted in India at Rs. 14,499. It was launched in India in the Ambitious Black, Brave Blue and Fiery Gold color options. The phone will be sold exclusively via Amazon from noon on December 5th starting at noon.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 8C runs EMUI 8.2 on Android 8.1 Oreo, while Realme U1 runs ColorOS 5.2 on the same Android 8.1 Oreo. The Honor 8C features a 6.26-inch IPS HD + (720×1520 pixels) TFT LCD screen with a 19: 9 aspect ratio and an 86.6% screen-on-screen ratio, while the Realme U1 gets a full screen. HD + 6.3 inches (1080×2340 pixels)) LCD screen with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio and a screen / body ratio of 90.8%.
The Honor 8C is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 octa-core SoC, paired with an Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB / 64GB onboard storage. On the other hand, the Realme U1 is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, combined with an ARM G72 graphics processor, a 3GB / 4GB RAM and an integrated 32GB / 64GB storage. Storage on both phones is expandable via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
With regard to optics, both smartphones are equipped with two rear cameras. The Honor 8C is equipped with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor, coupled with an LED flash. The Realme U1 is equipped with a 13 megapixel primary sensor with an f / 2.2 aperture and a 2 megapixel secondary sensor with an f / 2.4 aperture, also coupled to an LED flash. On the front, the Honor 8C receives an 8-megapixel self-focusing selfie camera, with an f / 2.0 aperture and a selfie effect light. The Realme U1 features a 25-megapixel Sony IMX576 selfie camera with f / 2.0 aperture, a 1.8-micron pixel size and a 4-in-1 resolution.
The Honor 8C's connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi single band. Fi 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth v4.2 LE with aptX, GPS / A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Micro-USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack. It has a 5000mAh battery with a 10W charge support. On the other hand, the Realme U1 offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS / A-GPS / GLONASS, a Micro-USB port with support OTG and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone is powered by a 3,500mAh battery under the hood.
