A crew member dies on the trays of Kabir Singh of Shahid Kapoor

In an unfortunate accident on the plateaux of Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer
Kabir Singh A crew member lost his life while he was on duty in Mussoorie. The victim, identified as Ram Kumar (35), lives in Uttar Pradesh. He lost his life in a five-star hotel where the film's unit resides. The incident occurred on January 24 before the start of filming.

Manufacturers issued this morning a statement confirming the accident. According to the statement, Kumar was part of the local team and worked with the Dehradun film unit as a generator operator. While checking the water level in the generator set, its muffler is caught in the generator fan and, in doing so, it has also been driven. The victim was seriously injured in the head and was immediately transported to the hospital. After struggling for a few hours with the fan, Kumar died.

Three brothers and one sister are survivors.
In a joint statement, producers – Cine1 Studios and T Series Films said, "We are deeply saddened by the loss. We express our deepest condolences to Mr. Ram Kumar's family. We offer family support immediately after this tragic event. "
