John Abraham unveiled on Friday the first teaser of his upcoming film, RAW – Romeo Akbar Walter, an espionage thriller that would be based on a true story. The teaser begins with a mother telling her son that his family will attend the Republic Day parade and that he is the most patriotic of all. The film then shows the teaser of RAW
John will play several roles in the film, and the actor has shown up until the teaser's release by sharing three posters showing his characters. . Each of the three posters also teases various other disguises that John will adopt in the film. The first, featuring Romeo, shows John as a man, smoking a cigarette and wearing a "70" style hairstyle. The second, from Akbar, shows John with a beard and short hair. The third Walter watch, a mustache with a dapper look.

RAW was originally intended for star actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The film takes place in the context of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war and is inspired by real events. Besides John Abraham, the film will also see Mouni Roy and Sikander Kher play a central role. The film is directed by Robbie Grewal and its release is scheduled for April 12.
John recently delivered one of the biggest solo hits of his career, Satyameva Jayate, and will also be seen at Batla House in 2019.
