In an unfortunate incident, a man died while shooting Shahid Kapoor's next film, Kabir Singh, at a Mussoorie hotel. According to reports, 35-year-old Ram de Muzaffarnagar was repairing a generator located on the film set in the hotel. His muffler got stuck in the generator fan, after which his head was hit. He suffered serious head injuries, after which he was transported to Dehradun Hospital, where he died. After the death of the man, the shooting was suspended. The reports suggest that Ram was part of the crew responsible for the verification and operation of the generator set used during the shooting.
