As we all know, Manikarnika is the biopic of the famous and legendary queen of Jhansi. The film shows her journey as a child to become queen and to be martyred in battle.

How does Kangana Ranut's performance perform?
Kangana Ranaut did a remarkable job playing the ferocious queen. The trailer was much worse, but the film itself is very different and his character is developing well. Kangana conveys the different emotions with conviction. She has a bit of personality on the fight scenes, but that's not a big problem for watching.

The action is simple, but the emotions work here, even if their execution is flatter. In some places, the visual effects are of poor quality, which also affects the pleasure.

Overall, the second half has the redeeming quality that makes Manikarnika a watch chronograph at best. The efforts are applauded but all the serious efforts do not give the good result in the end. In Krish's filmography, Manikarnika would be tied or slightly superior to Gautamiputra Satakarni.

There are many famous artists in the film. Among them, Danny Denzongpa stands out. The veteran easily stands out among the crowd despite a short role. Jisshu Sengupta plays his role sincerely. Zeeshan Ayyub has another interesting character but is overall ruined. Ankita is doing well in her small role. Atul Kulkarni should have been better used. The rest is fine.

Music and other departments?
Shankar Ehsaan Loy's songs are going well. However, it is the bottom note of Sanchit Balhara that stands out. Cinematography is globally correct. As mentioned earlier, sticky effects reduce stress most of the time. The artwork is good. The editing could have been better, as was the choreography of action that lacked impact.
