  Mr. Majnu's film criticism:
Mr. Majnu's film criticism: The film becomes predictable when the story moves to India. Majnu casting: Akhil Akkineni, Nidhhi Agerwal
M. Majnu Director: Venky Atluri
Majnu Award: 2.5 stars

Director Venky Atluri made some bad choices in his new film, Mr. Majnu. The romantic story takes place mainly in London, but the filmmakers have not been able to appeal to real English-speaking actors. And for some reason, British characters speak English as members of the Russian Mafia. Aside from these bad casting choices, Venky has created a romantic drama to watch that highlights the badets of his main actor, Akhil Akkineni.

Judging by the trailers, I was prepared for the wacky dialogues of Vikram Krishna aka Vikky aka Mr. Majnu (Akhil Akkineni). I expected to see a hero who objectifies the girls for his amusement and is celebrated for his unfaithfulness. However, I was relieved that my hypothesis was partially false. Vikky, in fact, is a playboy who constantly pbades from one romantic partner to the other. But, he does not disrespect his partners, does not mistreat them and does not boast proud male pride. Mr. Majnu avoids badly designed dialogues or scenes that make you flinch.

Vikky spends four years in London completing a two-year course in financial studies. You can guess what kept him distracted for all these years. Venky has robbed Vikky of the handsome men to make sure there is no competition for the hero's credibility as the most handsome man in the room. The director has created scenes where he feels that Vikky is the last man on earth and that women have no choice but him.

Majnu becomes predictable when the story travels to India. On the way back, Vikky runs into Nikky. And Vikky is trying to become a friend with Nikky. Nikky says no thank you, at least in the beginning. Later, Vikky discovers that Nikky is the sister of his future brother-in-law, and Vikky tries to arrange everything with Nikky.

Now that we know Vikky's playboy side, it's time to see how much he cared about him. family. Venky has written very generic rhythms of family drama, a situation to turn him into an action hero and a wedding song to brighten up the upset family members. When Nikky is told that smoking and jogging are the same or something, his opinion of Vikky changes dramatically. And she cracks for her charms.

Venky's writing becomes interesting when the real conflict between Nikky and Vikky makes its appearance. History is back in London and humor in Mr. Majnu is getting stronger.

The film begins and ends with the famous dialogue Nageswara Rao, which Vikky uses as a reading line of choice in Mr. Majnu. . The film aims to strengthen Akhil's brand as a "chocolate hero" and it works. He played his role with confidence and talent, and even smacked lame scenes. Nidhhi Agerwal spends a lot of time on the screen, but she has not been able to express more than two expressions in the film.

Like Tholi Prema, Mr. Majnu is also a romantic manual drama filled with moments of forced well-being. But Venky takes advantage of very familiar situations and makes his film visible.
