What happens when a legendary actor meets the star of the moment? A merger. That's exactly what happened when Amitabh Bachchan stumbled upon Ranveer Singh during the training sessions of a police function on Republic Day.
Sharing photos with Ranveer, Amitabh wrote on Instagram: "Repetitions for the police function … and percussion Electric Eclectic Ranveer. "

Ranveer returned the compliment, calling Amitabh "the greatest of all". He wrote: "Electric, eclectic, love it. It was a pleasure to see you, Bachchan sahab! #BigB #GOAT "
Amitabh also shared other pictures on Twitter. He wrote: "The day of the Republic … a victory as surgical as any strike … and a repeat of the event to raise money for families of police forces. in Mumbai and Maharashtra … meeting with the Electric Ranveer Singh. "
In the photos, Amitabh is seen in tracksuit while Ranveer sported his eccentricity on his sleeve; he was wearing a white neon jacket with a matching green headband. Both are in a hug.
On the job front, Ranveer is getting ready for the release of his next film, Gully Boy. His latest release, Simmba, was a mega hit and proved to be the eighth 100-crore film in Rohit Shetty's career and the fourth in Ranveer's career. In Gully Boy, Ranveer's hitting skills have been widely praised.
Amitabh also has a full plate; we will see him later in Brahmastra, a film by Ayan Mukherji, and in Badla with Sujoy Ghosh. In the first, he co-starred with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor and in the second with his co-starred Pink, Taapsee Pannu.
