Lady Gaga shocked her audience in Las Vegas on Saturday night (Jan. 26) by calling Bradley Cooper to play their award-winning (and very popular) duo of A Star is Born "Shallow."
At the MGM Park in Las Vegas – where she sets up her two residences Enigma and Jazz & Piano – Cooper leaves behind the scenes to kiss his co-star and his main wife before grabbing the microphone stool. Gaga dropped to her knees, stunned, and finally went to the piano for her couplets and the slender chorus of the song.
The pop star performed "Shallow" at his Enigma show in December, but this marks For the first time, she and Cooper have taken Ally and Jackson Maine's duo from the big screen to the scene since the film's release.
"Shallow" received a 2019 Oscar nomination for Best Original Song, and Lady Gaga and Cooper were nominated for Best Actress and Best Actor, respectively. The song has already won wins at the Golden Globes and the Critics' Choice Awards for Best Song.
