Its publication may have been delayed for seven months, but the hype of the sequel to the DC worlds struck Wonder Woman continues to grow.

One of the most iconic scenes of the 2017 film, heavily promoted in trailers, was one in which Diana Prince / Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) ran without fear through the No Man's Land in the middle of a battle in the First World War.

Now Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, who is currently working on the sequel, once again thrilled us by teasing a scene in the second film that will be just as epic.

"I have in this film a scene that is totally different, but that's my No Man's Land scene," she told Variety .

"There is a scene that fascinates me so much, it will not be the same scene, but there are times that really thrill me. "

Jenkins has already said that she had planned a third film in the franchise.

"I have pretty clear plans for Wonder Woman 3 ," she said. "Whether I [direct] like it or not, I see how his bow should end with my incarnation of Wonder Woman. That fascinates me a lot."

Wonder Woman 1984 will also see the return of Steve Trevor, played by Chris Pine, despite the fact that the character is apparently dead in the first movie.

But do not worry, Jenkins revealed that Steve's return would be quite logical when we see the movie.

"I figured that the next movie should be doing the first movie, so it was not a solution for" Oh my god, that was settled, let's try to get in there, "she says.

"All of this is extremely important to the story. It's perfectly logical, that's all I can say."

The Wonder Woman 1984 will be released on June 5, 2020.
