A woman recently accused the old South Indian actress Bhanupriya of harbading a 14-year-old girl she would have hired as a domestic helper. A complaint to the police against the actress was filed in Andhra Pradesh on the basis of the allegations of the 14-year-old girl's mother. The woman alleged that Bhanupriya took her daughter to Chennai for domestic help and promised her 10,000 rupees a month. But the actress would not have paid her daughter in the last 18 months and had not been allowed to meet her daughter. However, Bhanupriya denied all allegations that the girl stole money, jewelry and other valuables. She also stated that when she asked the girl to bring back the stolen items, her mother had filed a false complaint against Bhanupriya.
