Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai update written, January 26, 2019: Kartik gives Naksh and Kirti's baby to Naira

In the last episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Goenka and Singhania come to meet Naira and Kirti. The guard prevents them from entering and asks them to talk to the security officer. Naira, for her part, becomes conscious and looks for her baby when the cradle is empty.

Naira notices that Kartik is taking his baby and hugging him. Naksh regains consciousness and calls Kirti.

Later, Naira kisses the baby and everyone enters his room.

Kartik goes out and cries when he sees Kirti's baby card. Naira asks about Suwarna and Surekha informs her that she went to the temple to pray for them. Naksh comes to Kartik and asks him about his baby and Kirti. The nurse informs Naksh that her baby is dead and that he is shocked by the news. Naksh starts to cry and everyone comes to see him.

Surekha learns that Kartik is worried. Naksh promises to take care of Kirti as Akshara did.

Kartik arrives in Naira and cries after hearing about Kirti's child. Baby cries and Naira tells Kartik to take care of him (the baby). He takes the baby to Kirti and stops crying. Kartik bursts into tears and declares that he will return his baby as she regains consciousness.

Naira comes home with her baby and everyone welcomes her. Bhabhima sees a gift at home and Devyaani opens the doors. They see the cradle with the name of Naksh and Kirti on it and become moved. Devyaani says that he was ordered by Kirti and Naksh. Bhabhimaa tells Naksh to send the cradle to Naira.

Bhabhimaa tells Naksh to attend his nephew's ceremony. Kartik worries that if everyone comes to know the truth. The etiquette remains stuck to the Naira slipper. Later, Naira and Kartik prepare for the puja.
