An illustration of Banksy created to commemorate the victims of a terrorist attack in Paris in 2015 was stolen, reports Agence France-Presse.
The black and white stencil depicts a girl looking down. It was painted on one of the emergency doors of the Bataclan concert hall, where 90 people were killed in November 2015. But this work would have been interrupted and taken away this weekend.
"The work of Banksy, symbol of Memories and belonging to all: local, Paris, citizens of the world have been removed," said the concert hall in a tweeted statement. The establishment underlined the "deep indignation" of the staff
According to local media, "a group of hooded people, armed with angle grinders, cut the table and took it away in a truck", in the night from Friday to Saturday morning.

The mural on the Bataclan was one of the works presented at Banksy last June in Paris.
The famous British street artist, whose identity is not known, made headlines in October, when it was a work -destructed at a sale to auction after its sale for $ 1.4 million.
