Shinsuke Nakamura beat Rusev to become the new WWE Champion in the United States tonight at the WWE Royal Rumble Kickoff pre-show.
This is the second reign of Nakamura with the American title. Rusev won the Nakamura title during the December 25 SmackDown episode.
