While Bollywood met to celebrate the courage and hard work of the Mumbai police at its annual Umang event, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, both actors and real-life couples, even. The two men were seen dancing with Shah Rukh Khan on the stage and posing with police for selfies later.
The online shared footage of the event, Shah Rukk, Alia and Ranbir, show some 'thumkas' on the stage. We then see them talking on stage, sharing laughter and smiles.
Alia was seen in a green anarkali costume with large luster earrings. Ranbir was seen in a navy blue suit and tie. Both looked beautiful together and their fans were in agreement. "I love them both," wrote a fan. Another, "Such a beautiful couple …", writes another
. In addition to Alia, Ranbir and Shah Rukh, actors Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Janhvi Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshay Kumar also performed. Amitabh Bachchan gave a speech in the honor of the police during the event.

Alia and Ranbir are currently working on their first film together, Brahmastra. The film is directed by Ayan Mukherji and is also performed by Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.
Ranbir confirmed his relationship with Alia in May 2018. He spoke about it in an interview with GQ magazine. "It's really new right now and I do not want to talk anymore. It takes time to breathe and space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what's the right word? – flows right now.
