Aamir Khan on Hindostan thugs failure: people had the opportunity to get out of their anger

The superstar Aamir Khan claims that the public has the full right to be hard on a film and believes have the opportunity to dispel their frustration.

Released during Diwali last year, Thugs presented a set including Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh. Considered one of the biggest event films, the film was the subject of extreme criticism and crashed when it was released.

Aamir said he did not need to "forgive" director Vijay Krishna Acharya because they all wanted to make a good movie.

While the film was being criticized from all sides, there was a section that felt the criticism was unfair. Aamir said he was aware that some people liked the movie but did not want to judge those who did not want it.

"I met a lot of people who told me that they liked the movie. But I do not judge these things. I think that the spectators have the right to say exactly what they want and that they can be severe in their critics, it is their right. If there was some harshness, so be it, he said.

"Also, I have not flopped a film for a long time! People have had the opportunity to dispel their anger, which is good too. Years ago I had a failure, "he joked.
