Manikarnika by actress Kangana Ranaut: The queen of Jhansi is doing very well at the box office and won 47.65 crores of rupees during the four days following her release. Kangana, however, has been criticized by many for taking the director's credit for the film.
Filmmakers, including Pooja Bhatt and Bejoy Nambiar, criticized the actress for explaining how she ran the film while director Krish was unable to shoot much of the film. Apurva Asrani, who had accused Kangana of stealing credit for Simran, reiterated his claims and pointed out that he had gone through the same kind of struggle that Krish had been facing at Manikarnika.
