On the verge of becoming the Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan has won many hearts, laurels and recognition for his varied roles and has incorporated the latest cinematic technological advances into his projects. Although SRK has pretty much all the prizes, its trophy collection has no national award, which has made it so much worse that it has not won.

In a recent interview, the star reacted to his earlier comment stating that he regretted nothing in life and that this statement was only a joke. While claiming that he is extremely ambitious and honest, he joked that it was the loss of the reward and not his, and that sometimes the prestige of winning a reward was greater when he won it.
Seriously, SRK explained that he did not have enough artistic space in the kind of films he was making. However, he said that he had tried to bring so much art into commercial cinema.
When asked if he had not had a national award in his name bothered him, Khan expressed his desire to win one and complete his collection with an extra Oscar.
