SS Rajamouli's RRR is expected to beat 2.0
The upcoming SS Rajamouli RRR with Jr NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles, could beat Shankar 2.0 with Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the leading roles, to win the highest prize for his satellite and digital rights.
The satellite and digital rights of 2.0 were sold at a record crore of 170 rupees, RRR manufacturers demand a staggering crore of 250 rupees for the same thing. According to the reports, the team is not ready for a smaller sum considering the splendor of the film.
Rajamouli, who performed for the last time the iconic series Baahubali enjoys a high reputation in the film industry throughout India. During his career that lasted nearly two decades, he has delivered 11 consecutive wins, which is quite an achievement. Keeping in mind his phenomenal background, experts began to believe that Rajamouli would only create very attractive products. This is mainly why investors are willing to pay big money for his films.
Rajamouli took almost a year after the release of Baahubali 2 to advertise RRR which clearly indicates that the director does not want to defeat his audience at all costs. While the film's first program was shot in November, the second program started on January 21st.
There are rumors that Alia Bhatt was chained to star in the big-budget movie. An official announcement in this regard has not yet been made.
