Film and television producer Ekta Kapoor revealed the name of her son, born to a surrogate mother. In a special article, shared on Instagram, she revealed that she had named her son Ravie Kapoor in honor of his father and veteran actor Jeetendra. His original name was Ravie Kapoor, before his debut at Bollywood.
"By the grace of God, I have had many successes in my life, but nothing beats the feeling that this beautiful soul has added to my world. I can not even begin to express how happy the birth of my baby has been. Everything in life does not happen as you wish, but there are still solutions to these problems. I found mine and today, I feel immensely blessed to become a parent. It's a moment of emotion for me and my family, and I look forward to starting this new journey as a mother, "she said in a statement. Ravie was born on January 27th.
Her doctor says that Ekta tried other methods before opting for surrogacy. "Ekta Kapooor came to see me a few years ago to become a mother. We tried to help her become pregnant with several cycles of IUI (intrauterine insemination) and several cycles of IVF (in vitro fertilization). But we failed. So we had to resort to the technique of surrogacy, which we had practiced nine months ago in our center Bloom Ivf. Nine months later, she had been successful with the birth of a child on Sunday.
A few years ago, Ekta Kapoor's brother, Tusshar Kapoor, became a surrogate mother. His son Lakkshya occurs regularly at the birthday parties of other stars.

As soon as the announcement of the new Thursday, celebrities and fans addressed Twitter to wish Ekta a new chapter his life. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta tweeted: "Many congratulations and a lot of love, very dear, Ekta Kapoor. Welcome to parenthood and joy.
Actor Nimrat Kaur also congratulated Ekta, who has supported successful television shows such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Naagin. "I wish you all the love and all the most incredible adventures out there," said Nimrat, who played in the web series of Ekta The Test Case, on Twitter.
