Kevin Smith reveals a conversation he had with of Avengers: Infinity War and explains to the Russo brothers that they were not prepared for the imminent cultural impact of Thanos.
In the last episode of his show Fatman Beyond Kevin Smith talked about a conversation he had with Marvel Studios directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, about the break of the war with Infinity. They told Kevin Smith that they were not prepared for the impact he would have been recognized by people who did not like superhero movies:
"All right, you have to tell me honestly, did you know when the film was making that the click would be so culturally important, that it would instantly go into the lexicon, that your mother would know what the click meant. And he said, "No, not at all. We were not prepared. "

Kevin Smith also asked the Russo brothers if they considered this impact for Avengers: Endgame and they replied that it was difficult to consider this result because they were working in both movies at the same time:
"And I said:" On that basis, did that make you go back into Endgame and do more shit, because all suddenly you realized that you had made a clbadic backdoor. And he said, because they're still working on it … it was hard to do two movies simultaneously, side by side, one Avengers movie and the other. So they come back and catch things they do not have. They can now cross their T's and their points.

The Superhero Movies From 2018, rated from worst to best
2018 pbaded too fast. It seems like it was yesterday when the beginning of the New Year was upon us, and the advent of so many superhero movies striking the theaters seemed a dream come true for every fanboy and every fangirl. It's also fun to look back and remember that although we ended up with a huge nine theater superhero movies, we almost had eleven. Unfortunately, Fox delayed Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants to 2019.
Even with these two delayed films, 2018 was still a mbadive year not only in the box -office, but for the continuous advancement of gender on several levels. Whether through the cultural significance of a film like Black Panther or by the exciting animated adventures of Incredibles 2 and Spider-Man: Towards the Thread of the Spider, the exciting stories of superheroes told on the big screen this year are not lacking.
