Universal Pictures on Friday sold the first trailer of Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, the first derivative of the multi-billion dollar Fast & Furious action series. The film will pit former enemies Luke Hobbs (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) against the most formidable villain the show has ever seen, Brixton, "the villain", played by Idris Elba.
Much of the opening of the trailer is devoted to building his character. "I care about the future of the planet," he says in voiceover. "I am the necessary shock for the system, I am an evolutionary human change; Bulletproof, superhuman. "
We see pictures of him giving his" powers "in a scientific experiment that gives him incredible strength, and later, the ability to send the Rock in the air of a single punch.
To combat this threat, it is decided that the forces of good will have to call on their best guys – Hobbs and Shaw. The characters were introduced to the universe of Fast & Furious as villains in the fifth and sixth films in the series, but after a particularly popular team in The Fate of the Furious, they had their own spin-off .
Some members of the original cast, such as Tyrese Gibson, who accused The Rock of sabotaging the franchise, and Vin Diesel, alleged to have been involved in a quarrel with The Rock on the latest film, made that decision . . The spin-off also delayed the ninth movie in the main series.

Diesel recently launched another spin-off, based on female characters, that it would produce. Hobbs & Shaw was co-produced by The Rock's Seven Bucks Productions. He announced that he would not appear in Fast & Furious 9.
Hobbs & Shaw is directed by David Leitch, of Deadpool 2. He will arrive in the theaters on August 2nd. The Rock will appear itself in the fight drama Fighting with my Family. He is also filming the third film Jumanji. Statham recently made the biggest hit of his career with The Meg.
