What's the story?
Earlier this week, the wrestling world was plunged into a frenzy when it was announced that Dean Ambrose would leave the WWE at the expiry of his contract in April, with the confirmation of WWE news.
Dolph Ziggler is a man who seems ready to follow the former WWE Champion, and The Show-Off now has a say.
In case you do not know …
the Royal Rumble, Ambrose has spent surprisingly little time on our screens when he was quickly eliminated from the Royal Rumble Match – a match won by the man with whom he was arguing recently and the man he interrupted on RA W, the former brother of SHIELD, Seth Rollins. 19659018] The next night, RAW started with Seth Rollins cutting a promo for his victory, before Triple H went to the ring to congratulate him – before being followed by a dissatisfied Dean Ambrose. A match was then made where Rollins beat his former best friend before Dean took a chair – only to be confronted with the woman he was devouring. It was confirmed shortly after that Ambrose would leave the WWE.
The Heart of the Problem
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Dolph Ziggler explained his reaction to the release of WWE's Ambrose.
It was very surprising to me. I do not know too many people too close to him who would have a glimpse. I would not want to guess anything.
The former intercontinental champion also spoke about Ambrose as a person and his relationship with the man behind Lunatic's character.
I did not see it coming. He always has something to do and always plays a leading role, he does something great and he is appreciated by the fans. He could simply try to move on. I can understand. It's hard to read it sometimes. It's a ridiculously nice guy and loves business. Done really his own thing. Somehow in his own world.
Ziggler concluded by stating that a departure from the WWE could be perfect for Ambrose.
I'm friends with his wife (Renee Young) and we talk all the time. But Dean and I, if we put a match together, we talk, but otherwise … a really nice guy, love the fight, like to have a good time but definitely do his own thing. Maybe he's trying to do something more?
What's Next
