Starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham in the lead roles, the film features Idris Elba as the villain. Fast & Furious veteran, Chris Morgan, wrote the story. The tone of the movie looks surprisingly light with lots of jokes in moments that are not usually fun. The film, to put it simply, looks incredible.
Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw team up to end Elba's Brixton (Elba with an original badney accent) as the synopsis claims to be the only guy more mean than the duo. But do not expect the team to be smooth as butter. These great men bring with them big egos and do not get along well. There is a clear atmosphere of deadly weapons here.
And their enemy is a cybernetically improved man with superhuman strength. In one scene, we see Brixton hitting the hero's bades all by himself.
