After Simmba's success, director Rohit Shetty moved on to his next project, Sooryavanshi. Rohit shared an Instagram photo of himself with his main team, while they were heading to Goa to begin preparing the film. Ranveer Singh, his star of Simmba, expressed his enthusiasm in a comment.

Sooryavanshi is the next episode of Rohit's interconnected cinematic universe, which debuted with both Singham films and continued with Simmba. Akshay Kumar will play the central role in Sooryavanshi and will make an appearance in Simmba, alongside Ajay Devgn.
The three actors gathered for the stage during the recent Umang 2019 event, an annual celebration organized by the Mumbai police. , which sees several Bollywood stars present.
With a worldwide total of 400 crores of box-office rupees, Simmba is getting closer to Rohit's greatest film, the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, Chennai Express. The film is Rohit's highest film, with collections reaching the 240 mark.

Ranveer will soon be presented in Gully Boy, directed by Zoya Akhtar and due out on February 14th. The film takes place on the Mumbai underground rap music scene and is also performed by Alia Bhatt. Akshay will appear in Good News, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mission Mangal with Vidya Balan.
