Nobody will like it

When an American teenager posted a photo of his mother holding a chart that she had finished in her art clbad on a Reddit social media site, he was not aware that it would create a chain reaction online.

Decker Mathew's Reddit message with accompanying caption, "My mother painted this and said no one would like it." This is her second painting, "received since 24,000 "positive votes".

However, this is what happened the day after the viral spread of the message that triggered a domino effect. The photo drew the attention of Swedish artist Kristoffer Zetterstrand, who painted the photo of Mr. Mathew representing his mother, Cindi Decker, holding his painting. Mr. Zetterstran also shared on Reddit a photo of himself holding his painting with the following caption: "I painted someone's mother".

A few days later, Laila Amer, a journalism student, joined the channel by painting a picture of Mr. Zetterstrand holding his painting.

"It took a long time and is not perfect," she wrote in her article Reddit. "But I painted the guy who painted the mother of the other guy."

This Reddit article prompted people to paint pictures of other people holding a painting that they have completed and which lasted several days before the original painting was reduced to one. Tiny installation in the layers of paint that we could barely see.

Cindi Decker, a teacher in Florida, signed up for Reddit with the username "imthemomwhopaints" to thank everyone.

"I was afraid to read a lot of hate comments," she wrote in a message. "You all proved that I was wrong, I guess most of you could be my children and you all have a bad name in this world.You're all compbadionate, caring and fun! 39; have high.! You have all inspired me instead. "
