Edge, a member of WWE Hall, recently spoke about the match between 1945 and 1800 [RoyalRumble between Finn Bálor and Brock Lesnar. The match saw Lesnar retain the WWE title, as Finn ended his attempt to overthrow The Beast Incarnate.

However, Edge has only great things to say about the man who tried to defeat The Conqueror.

"Finn played his role to perfection . I was so proud of him. I was so happy for him. I thought this match had done more for him, as this 15-minute match had made him farther than the rest of his run. They've never doubted that people accept it, though they may have doubted it could fit that role, or also be credible against a guy like Brock, yes, the way that they did it and put it together makes it very believable. But he held his share of the market. It was really very well done.

But it was Lesnar's action after defeating Finn who took many fans by surprise. Lesnar did win the match, but after forcing Finn to qualify, Brock went on to attack Bálor. It was as if WWE was putting more salt in the shoes of fans who really wanted Finn to finally find the Universal Championship.

However, Edge has a very different view of the situation.

"T What I liked more than the match was the fact that Brock acted like a big spoiled baby at the end because he was injured. So he was sorry to have been hurt and to return there, which made Bálor feel a much more serious threat. As he reacted in this way, Bálor was a huge threat. His masculinity has been threatened.

Lesnar has now joined Seth Rollins, who will challenge him for the universal title at WrestleMania 35 on April 7th. Rollins got the right to face Brock after his victory. The Royal Rumble Men Match on January 27th.
