January 27

At Royal Rumble 2019, Brock Lesnar defeated Finn Balor to retain the WWE Universal title and Ronda Rousey defeated Sasha Banks to retain the WWE Raw Women's Championship title

Daniel Bryan defeated AJ Styles to retain the WWE title and Asuka defeated Becky Lynch to retain the WWE SmackDown title.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Rusev to win the US title, and Buddy Murphy retained his WWE Cruiserweight title against Akira Tozawa, Hideo Itami and Kalisto. Miz and Shane McMahon beat the bar to become WWE SmackDown team champions.

Becky Lynch won the women's Royal Rumble match, while Seth Rollins won the men's title.

Jan. 28

Becky Lynch challenges Ronda Rousey at the WWE Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 35. Rousey defends her title against Bayley in an open challenge.

January 29

At SmackDown Live, R-Truth defeats Shinsuke Nakamura to win WWE United and retains him immediately against Rusev.

Daniel Bryan deposits the WWE Championship title for a new ecological belt that he will defend against AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe and Mustafa Ali at the 2019 Elimination Chamber.

Usos win a game in four corners and face The Miz and Shane McMahon at the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship, also at the Elimination Chamber.

Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville announce their entry to WWE Women's Tag Match for the title at Elimination Chamber.

January 30

WWE confirms that Dean Ambrose will not sign a new contract and will leave the company after WrestleMania.
