Promotion of vegan pork
In Hong Kong, famous for its dim sum and barbecue pork, a company badociates with restaurants to promote Lunar New Year dishes cooked with its "vegan pork" prepared with soy and peas.
"According to traditional belief, we should not eat the same animal during their year to bring good luck – so that pigs do not eat pork," said Alvin Lee, director of marketing at Green Monday, a social enterprise that promotes a sustainable lifestyle.

China released dietary guidelines in 2016 people halve their meat consumption – a move touted by environmentalists as a way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve public health.
