Seth Rollins was not allowed to participate in RAW this week. He suffers from a backache and could remain unused for up to a month while society allows him to heal himself. This is bad news, but the series must continue.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Rollins' wound condition had probably caused the WWE to change his plan regarding RAW. It's a good thing that Kurt Angle is about to take The Architect's place after the retirement has been interrupted.
"I felt like they were going to do McIntyre and Corbin against Strowman and Seth at the pay-per-view. Maybe the Kurt affair has to do with a replacement this week and set up everything they would do at the time of pay-per-view. Obviously, Seth was not [able to work]. You know Kurt was here. It was not a long-term scenario, it was something added. "
You never know what the next steps will be in Kurt Angle's new scenario. He has Braun Strowman as an ally, a good friend to have. We'll have to wait, but it may depend on how quickly Seth Rollins' back gets better.
