After reaching the final of Roadies' previous season, Gaurav Alugh was disappointed at not being able to win the trophy. But he caught up by signing up for Splitsvilla 11. The actor and star of reality TV entered the show as a wild card competitor and was paired with his best friend, Shruti Sinha. The two even managed to win the show, even if one of them was a competitor. In an exclusive conversation with us, Gaurav explains his friendship with Shruti and explains why winning the show mattered to him.

Tell us about your experience of the show. .
When I entered the series, most of it was over since I was a generic card. Winning the show was my only goal; I'm not really a reality TV person. I would prefer fiction to reality. I chose Roadies because it was like a dream come true and I managed to reach the final without being able to win. So when I signed this, my only goal was to win the show. Decidedly, I had a huge disadvantage of being a wild card, but I was there to play and we were pretty strong. Shruti and I have been our best friends for two years now.
What are your strong and weak points in the series?
I have not really had a good time knowing since I came in. I felt rather like a commando who is on the battlefield for a mission that will end in a few days or weeks. I will cherish all my moments in the series.
Shruti was offered to choose between the love of his life, Rohan, and you accomplish the task during the final. Were you worried that she chose Rohan for you?
We all three agree. It was a very pressing moment. I would never have felt bad if Shruti had chosen Rohan and he was not unhappy that she chose me to perform the task in the final.
