Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 Synopsis: The life of a wastrel becomes a roller coaster after falling in love with a girl with a mysterious family history

Dhilluku Dhuddu 2: L & # 39; The advantage of horror-comedy films is that some hilarious scenes featuring some comedians and a decent number of spooky scenes could do the trick. Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 is one of those attempts where Santhanam and Rajendran devotees attach more importance to a captivating story that catches the eye.

Viji (Santhanam), sticker driver and his uncle (Rajendran), spend sleepless nights with their neighbors, thanks to their irritating drinking habits. Karthik (TM Karthik), one of their neighbors, is developing a plan to tame them with the help of a few others. Doctor, he has the shock of his life trying to express his love for his colleague Maya (Shrita). Karthik understands that there is something strange about her and is trying to make Viji fall for her. Viji then goes to Maya's home in Kerala to ask her family for permission to marry him and land at a place where superstitions and ghostly presence reign.

The plot is too predictable for a horror comedy, and the flashback story that is mandatory in such a premise, too, is nothing new to offer. But the chemistry between Santhanam and Rajendran saves the show, thanks to their timely misunderstanding dialogues. Urvasi, who is present in the second half of the film, also gives a good company to Santhanam, making some scenes very enjoyable.

Santhanam corrected the mistakes made during the last outing and portrayed a character addressing his expected audience. He did a few stunts this time too, but does not seem very comfortable with romance, thanks to an underdeveloped track. Rajendran proves why he is still wanted even after trying similar roles in many movies. While many comedy scenes reach the target, some do not. The spooky scenes in the pre-climax parts contain many fun elements, although they are somewhat stretched, which has slightly affected the mood. A better story and a compelling romantic song could have further helped the music of the film.
