The Tamil version of Arjun Reddy will be shot again, the release date postponed

The creators of of Varmaa The Tamil version of the hit Telugu 2017 Arjun Reddy decided to shoot the film again because of various creative and other differences.

The film has already been shot, but E4 Entertainment announced Thursday that it would be released in June instead of February this year.

"E4 Entertainment is not at all pleased with the final version we have been given and, due to various creative and other differences, we have decided not to release this version. start again and turn a new Tamil version of Arjun Reddy ", reads a statement.

Dhruv Vikram, who debuts with Varmaa will be part of the new version, while official announcements regarding "the new cast and crew, including the director, will be released soon".

The original film, starring Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead, revolves around a medical student who falls in love with his junior and the evolution of their relationship.

The Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy is also in development. Actors Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani take on the roles of Vijay and Shalini Pandey.
