Recalling that the original song was written more than 40 years ago, he added," The generation of today is not aware of it. My kids had not heard the original before I made them listen to the new version and they loved it. "
Reacting to Roshan's statement that filmmakers lost confidence in creating new songs, Indra said:" Lack of originality and talent in music is a euphemism ".

Usha had told Deccan Chronicle in an article: "Our songs were created after long reflections made with sensitivity and care.It is not correct to rip them off in this arbitrary manner."
