Game of Thrones is coming to an end this year (sob), but that does not mean that HBO has already finished with Westeros.
A spin-off prequel called The Long Night is in preparation – we'll talk about it later – but with such a wealth of content to adapt, we're intrigued to see what HBO has planned for Another for the franchise, especially in the current media climate of the Disney trade. Marvel and Star Wars for all that they are worth.

It is interesting to note that HBO programming president Casey Bloys told The Hollywood Reporter that the network wanted to avoid this approach and opt for a strategy of "less is more".
"But I do not want HBO to become a broadcast network only Game of Thrones or Game of Thrones prequel. What we are doing is a much more diverse palette, so we are not in a position that forces us to run the Game of Thrones franchise or operate, otherwise the lights will turn off at HBO.
"I think it would be foolish not to try the previous one and see what happens elsewhere […] but we want to be careful not to overdo it."

To get back to this pilot The Long Night who has a pretty solid cast, Bloys has confirmed again that he was planning to start turn in the summer. will they even start looking at the other options.
"No other project will pick up anything until it is launched and then we will consider the possibility of choosing another," he added.
"We really want to start this one, get it to the pilot, and then we'll think about other options."
The Game of Thrones Series 8 will be premiered in April. The show airs on HBO in the United States and NOW TV (S1-7 streaming from March 1) and Sky Atlantic in the UK. Season 7 is now available for purchase on DVD on Blu-ray or as a digital download.
