After Ajay Devgn, the SS Rajamouli will approach Akshay Kumar for the RRR?
One of the greatest filmmakers in Indian cinema, SS Rajamouli and Bollywood Ajay Devgn is back. Years before Baahubali: The Beginning on the screens, Ajay Devgn and Kajol had given the voice over of the Hindi version of his blockbuster in Telugu Eega entitled Makkhi. SS Rajamouli, currently busy filming his next film RRR with Ram Charan and Jr NTR, recently approached Ajay Devgn to give him an important role in the film.
But Ajay Devgn apparently refused the role. Although no one knows officially if SS Rajamouli has proposed the role to Ajay and if he rejects it, but if it happens, it is the second big offer from the south to which the star of Singham refused. Last year, he was also offered the role of the main antagonist in Kamal Haasan's Indian Indian.
After the rejection of Ajay, SS Rajamouli now asked Akshay Kumar to play the same role. In fact, the report suggests that the discussion is ongoing but nothing has been finalized. Akshay had already played the antagonist in the Tamil blockbuster of last year 2.0 with Rajinikanth and he agreed to be part of this epic of the SS Rajamouli, which will be his second time the villain in a southern film of India.
Previously, the reports ran around the SS Rajamouli for the female lead, considering Parineeti Chopra and even Alia Bhatt was approached. But again, these are all reports from different sources, there is no confirmation.
