We all know the clbadic fairy tale of Aladdin and his love story with Princess Jasmine. The adaptation of 2019 could however reserve us some surprises. With a menacing king who could be behind the magic lamp, and a playful genius played by none other than Will Smith, Aladdin could be one of the many fairy tales that will be the object of a more "serious" remake these days.

A few hours after the teaser was published, social media was filled with surprise and even horror, declaring that Smith was the blue creature. While some called Smith "the blue Shrek", some were moved by the excitement aroused by the cast.

Guy Ritchie is known for films like Sherlock Holmes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. The film stars Mena Mbadoud in Aladdin; Naomi Scott as Jasmine; Marwan Kenzari as Jafar; Navid Negahban as sultan; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia; Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders; and Numan Acar as Hakim

Alan Menken, an eight-time Oscar-winning composer, wrote the music for the film, which includes new recordings of original songs by Menken and lyricists Howard Ashman and Tim Rice. [19659002] Aladdin will be released on the screen on May 24, 2019.
