CHENNAI: Mukesh Ambani, President and CEO of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), and his wife, Nita Ambani, met on Monday night with DMK Chairman MK Stalin at his home. The couple invited Stalin and his family to the wedding of their son, Aakash.

In addition to Stalin and his wife Durga, his son, Udhayanidhi Stalin, his daughter-in-law, Kiruthiga, and his son-in-law, Sabareesan, were also present. They were dressed in a colorful way to receive Ambanis.
"It was a pleasure to receive a courtesy call from Thiru Mukesh Ambani, president of Reliance Industries Limited, in Chennai earlier in the evening," tweeted Stalin later.
After spending some time with the Stalins, the Ambani couple left for a city hall to attend the wedding reception of the younger daughter of Rajinikanth's actor, Soundarya. Rajinikanth and his wife, Latha Rajinikanth, attended the wedding of Ambani's daughter in December.
