Pulwama attack: Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta contribute Rs 3 lakh for the martyrs

The deadly terrorist attack on Thursday, February 14, in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir plunged the entire country into shock. The attack, which occurred on the fateful night of February 14, 2019, cost more than 40 jawans. Many celebrities have condemned the attack and have also shown their support by donating money for the welfare of the families of the martyrs.

TV actor Ravi Dubey and his wife Sargun Mehta also offered to contribute and support the families of the martyrs.

Ravi shares the same thing on his Instagram account and explains why he informs everyone of his contribution. The actor in his post wrote that he was inspired by one of his peers and hoped to encourage others to do the same.

He wrote: "Yes, we could have done it in private … but we too were inspired to take action and bring as little as we could because we saw one of our peers publish … I hope this inspires others to contribute and support .. #JaiHind #JaiBharat #pulwama "

In the worst terrorist attack ever in Jammu and Kashmir since the beginning of militancy in 1989, a suicide bomber from Jaish-e-Mohammad hit his vehicle laden with explosives in a bus of Central Reserve Police (CRPF) in the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Pulwama district, killing at least 40 soldiers instantly. The balance was 49 on Friday, with several people having died from their injuries.
