Varmaa, the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy, which marks the debut of Vikram's son, Dhruv, was renamed Adhithya Varma, officials said Tuesday via an official poster. The poster, made in the same fabric as the original poster of Arjun Reddy, represents Dhruv in an avatar very close to the character of Deverakonda.

Famed lens specialist Ravi K Chandran was chained to launch the camera while Radhan composes the music. The announcement came a week after officials announced their decision to remove the version of the remake made by Bala.

. According to an official statement released by the manufacturers, "E4 Entertainment hired studios B to recreate the Tamil version of Arjun Reddy entitled Varmaa, based on a first copy, at the insistence of the latter.
