Shahid Kapoor is about to put on the producer hat for his next biopic, Dingko Singh, and has partnered with Raja Krishna Menon to produce the film. The film scheduled to be screened in January has been delayed as producers spend time preparing for the script. As this is the inspiring and inspiring story of a star boxer from Manipur, several drafts are being developed to make the story sound. Filming will begin soon and sites have been selected in Dingko's hometown, in Delhi and abroad. As part of the preparation, Shahid had visited the boxer and had spent time with him for a few days last year. This is a special film because it marks the beginning of Shahid as a producer.
Before Shahid, Priyanka Chopra had described Mary Kom's inspirational Boxer . There were many similar items and it worked well at the counter. Since this is the biopics season, we expect a lot from Dingko Singh. Shahid also grew up as an excellent performer with films like Udta Punjab, Haider among others and it would be a new feather in his cap.
On a personal level, he enjoys being a complete family man for Misha, Zain and his wife Mira Rajput.
