Shivangi Joshi shared a video of her playing with this girl named Mishti, whom she also called her sister. Although fans have guessed that this may have something to do with the spin-off of the series announced earlier, Shivangi dropped the first promotion of the series with the new title. Rhea Sharma will star in the show against Shaheer Sheikh in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. Rithvik Arora was also invited to the show. The show will replace Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai or will she take another time slot unknown so far.
Speaking about the spin-off, producer Rajan Shahi told The Bombay Times: "We are working on a spin-off of 'YRKHH', which just ended 10 years ago. Shaheer was hired to play the male lead. He will be seen in a dynamic role, which will be different from his previous outings. I realized that some characters from the original series deserved to be explored further in the spin-off. We look forward to another promotion with Shaheer and the other players who will be part of the spin-off. This is the first time both have shared screen space and we are very excited about it.
