When Cody Rhodes leaves WWE, he has to make a lot of discoveries by himself. He had people to help him, which is exactly what he wants to do for Tye Dillinger.
When Cody Rhodes spoke to Ryan Satin about Pro Wrestling Sheet, he stated that he liked Tye Dillinger. Cody said he signed a contract with WWE because he was the son of Dusty Rhodes and Dillinger did not judge him at all. Instead, Dillinger helped Cody out and both became a tag team in OVW. Then, Cody promised to provide all possible help.
Rhodes said it was funny because his sister had just sent him a text message asking if AEW was signing Tye Dillinger. Cody said it was more important for Dillinger to come out of the Indies and "do what he wanted and fill the soul."
Cody stated that the conversation at this time was not about signing with AEW. Of course, this conversation can always come later.
