Oscars 2019: Complete list of winners

The day of the Oscars ceremony finally began and the 91st Academy Awards began in Los Angeles with the first prize awarded to Regina King – Best Supporting Actress for her work in If Beale Could Speak . Mahershala Ali won his second Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for Green Book after his first victory for Moonlight two years ago. The crowd favorite Black Panther also won two of the first victories for the best costume design and the best production design. Roma, who leads the table of honor with 10 nominations (with The Favorite ), won the prize for Best Foreign Film and Best Cinematography. Bohemian Rhapsody won the director's award for sound as well as the Oscar for film editing. The Oscars started with a performance by Queen and Adam Lambert. The list of nominations is directed by two films – Roma and The Favorite both competing for best film and other major Oscars, have each been nominated 10 times. This year's honored Oscars winners include actress Cicely Tyson, composer Lalo Schifrin and journalist Marvin Levy, while producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall receive the Irving G Thalberg Memorial Award.
