Black Panther officially won three Oscars, but was wiped out by the Best Film Award.
The Sunday Black Panther Awards Ceremony was awarded the Academy Award for Best Costume Design by Ruth Carter; and Achievement in Production Design, awarded to Hannah Beachler (production design) and Jay Hart (set design); and Achievement of Music Written for Films (Original Movie), attributed to Ludwig Goransson.
Black Panther lost in Best Film category (to Green Book ). Sound mixing ( Bohemian Rhapsody ), sound editing ( Bohemian Rhapsody ) and Best Song ( of a star was born ).
