Just after his Oscar win, Bohemian Rhapsody broke a record set by . Avengers: Infinity War in the United Kingdom.
OfficialCharts.com confirmed that Queen Biopic made its debut at the top of the film's official charts with only downloads. This makes it the fastest selling digital movie ever after selling nearly 265,000 digital copies in its first eight days.
He Beats Little Avengers: Infinity War who had previously set the record with just under last summer, 253,000 digital downloads were recorded.
Bohemian Rhapsody won the highest number of awards among all Oscar-nominated films, with four successes, including Best Actor for Rami Malek. Malek's winning speech excluded the film's sacked director, Bryan Singer, much as he did when he won the Globes.
The speech ends with a personal message to his partner and girlfriend, Lucy Boynton, and shortly after his victory, Malek falls off the stage but is thankfully unscathed.
