We have a new trailer for X-Men: Dark Phoenix, which will probably be the latest X-Men movie before its list of characters is drawn into the Marvel film universe, thanks to the 39, acquisition of its creator, 21st Century Fox. If you wonder why screenwriter-director Simon Kinberg, who is making his directorial debut with Dark Phoenix after writing or producing several X-Men movies, is back to fans of history partially seen before, there are two reasons for this. The first relates to the puzzling chronology of the X-Men universe and the second to the public reception. X-Men 2014: Days of Future Past essentially canceled everything we saw in The Last Stand. This last chapter did not please many people anyway. With Dark Phoenix, Kinberg wants to give fans a "more faithful" version of the script.

Dark Phoenix is expected to be released in India on June 7, 2019.
