Director Imtiaz Ali is reported to be moving forward in the aftermath of his romantic drama Love Aaj Kal. The director is meeting with producer Dinesh Vijan for the project, which will begin in Delhi next week with Sara Ali Khan, Kartik Aaryan and Randeep Hooda in lead roles, according to sources from the production company.
His father, Saif Ali Khan, who had starred in the film Ali in 2009, alongside Deepika Padukone
Kartik, who currently plays in Luka Chuppi's production at Maddock Films at Vijan, confirmed the news of his casting. "He (Imtiaz) is one of my favorite filmmakers and I've always wanted to work with him.I'm glad this is finally happening," said the actor.

The news of Sara and Kartik is a treat for fans of two young stars, who are eager to see them get married after Sara confessed to having a crush on Kartik on the cat from Karan Johar show, Koffee with Karan. The sequel will be held in Delhi and Punjab.
