Sonali Bendre talks about her fight against cancer

When the Bollywood actress, Sonali Bendre, was diagnosed with cancer, the fans were shocked and social media were full of messages of type "heal yourself quickly" for the actress of yesteryear. Sonali was treated in the US for months, lost her hair during the chemotherapy session, but she kept her cool and regularly posted updates on her condition and her life with her fans on Instagram.

This is probably the most difficult thing to know for a human being. when they say they have cancer. It is easy to lose hope and be emotionally distressed like no other. Sonali was no different when it was announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer. In addition to being an emotional mess, the actress, at first, is also blamed. She began to wonder if she had caused it. Look at his statement below – reported by DNA:

"Everyone said:" Your lifestyle has never been that way. How did this happen to you? I actually thought that it was me who was doing something wrong and that I had caused it. I went to a psychiatrist in New York. I was like, I do not understand what happens to me. I am not a negative person, I have a lot of positive thoughts. Am I delusional? Do I actually have negative thoughts and I bury them so deeply in my secondary consciousness that I do not realize it? I needed to understand what was happening, "said Sonali Bendre.

Sometimes, when you least expect it, life throws you a pit. I have recently been diagnosed with a high grade cancer that has metastatized, which we had not really seen coming. Insidious pain led to tests that led to this unexpected diagnosis. My family and close friends have gathered around me, providing the best support system anyone can ask for. I am very blessed and grateful for each one of them. There is no better way to tackle it than to take quick and immediate action. And so, as advised by my doctors, I am currently in treatment in New York. We remain optimistic and I am determined to fight every step of the way. What has helped is the tremendous surge of love and support that I have received over the last few days and for which I am very grateful. I embark on this battle, knowing that I have the strength of my family and my friends behind me.

As my favorite author Isabel Allende said: "We do not even know how strong we are that we are not obliged to take advantage of this hidden strength. In times of tragedy, war, necessity, people do incredible things. The human capacity for survival and renewal is incredible. "The love of love that I have received over the last few days has been so overwhelming … and I am especially grateful to those of you who shared your experience of fighting against cancer, whether it's yours or your loved ones. Your stories brought me an extra dose of strength and courage and, most importantly, to know that I'm not alone. Every day comes with its own challenges and wins and so for now, I'm enjoying this #OneDayAtATime. The only thing I'm trying to be consistent about is keeping a positive attitude … literally #SwitchOnTheSunshine – that's my way of managing that. Sharing my journey is also part of this process … I just hope it reminds you that everything is not lost and that someone somewhere understands what you are going through. Thank you @tomoarakawa for this chic transition from long to short
