Total Dhamaal box office collection day 10
Director Indra Kumar's Total Dhamaal has turned out to be his highest grosser ever. The film collects in its first week and despite the release of two new movies – Luka Chuppi and Sonchiriya, the second-weekend collection of Total Dhamaal is quite strong. On its release, the adventure comedy has received a lot of criticism from the film critics but it does not matter the movie has shown a strong trending throughout its 10 days run at the box office.
With its day 10 collection, Total Dhamaal has the beast of the lifetime collection of Ajay Devgn's own Golmaal 3, which released on Diwali in 2010. In fact, Total Dhamaal is now Ajay Devgn's third highest grossing film of all time behind Singham Returns and Golmaal Again both of which were holiday releases. While the collections of Singham Returns will be surpbaded by Total Dhamaal by next week, Golmaal Again 's double century is out of reach.
It also became Riteish Deshmukhs highest grossing movie beating Housefull 2, Arshad Warsi's second highest grosser behind Golmaal Again and Anil Kapoor's second highest grosser behind Race 3. Total Dhamaal is Madhuri Dixit's first film in Rs 100 crore club and Jaaved Jaaferi's second highest gross after Bang Bang.
The movie made Rs 11.45 crore on its day 10 taking its 10-day total to Rs 117.77 crore. Trade badyst Taran Adarsh's tweet about the collection of Total Dhamaal read:
As today is a partial holiday to the country due to Mahashivratri expect a second Monday at the box office for Total Dhamaal.
